It was an early morning on the second of June. We had horses to saddle, patterns to lay out and yes, also fridges to fill. All riders were ready to shine. We showed two western disciplines: horsemanship and trail. Every combination could ride every pattern two times, because the goal was to gain experience. All riders did their very best. And friends and family were happy to cheer them on. Every rider got a medal and a nice present from our sponsors. Smiling faces everywhere, because we are all champions (or 'paddenstoelen' ;)). Afterwards we enjoyed paninis and drinks at the bar. We talked about our morning and Mila and Sari got to work again and helped to draw the winning numbers of the tombola.
